紀(jì)念廣場區(qū)為場地內(nèi)面向中山一路一側(cè)的區(qū)域，是主要的公共活動區(qū)域。該區(qū)域在功能上是服務(wù)周邊居民公共活動的場地，也是服務(wù)游覽人群紀(jì)念巴將軍活動的場地。由于使用空間的限制，現(xiàn)巴將軍墓缺少可供大量人群進(jìn)行祭拜、紀(jì)念、文教活動的場地，所在紀(jì)念廣場區(qū)在功能上對現(xiàn)狀不足進(jìn)行功能上的補(bǔ)充，與現(xiàn)巴將軍墓形成整體。
場地內(nèi)設(shè)有兩處配套商業(yè)建筑，并結(jié)合配套商業(yè)布置有休息平臺，這既有利于提升游覽者的休息體驗(yàn)，也使得場地能夠留得住游覽者，能夠保住人氣。而在廣場的主體區(qū)域，以大面積公共活動鋪裝場地為主，為附近居民和外來游客提供集散空間和集中活動場地，便于開展日常活動和節(jié)假日紀(jì)念活動。
廣場區(qū)域以燈帶和線型鋪裝為主要景觀物，以自由布置的燈帶引導(dǎo)視線，將人群引導(dǎo)向巴將軍墓方向，同時增加場地的吸引力，并提升整個區(qū)域的活力。
雕塑為市民呈現(xiàn)巴國文化與巴將軍的忠義精神；安靜休息區(qū)提供相對私密、安靜休息空間；紀(jì)念廣場區(qū)主題統(tǒng)一，紀(jì)念古代中國璀璨的傳承文化，同時為廣場的形象展示；休閑活動區(qū)是集休閑、健身、娛樂為一體的綜合活動空間。
